NON-PROFITS AND OTHER COMMUNITY PARTNERS

Q: How and when can I apply for a grant from United Way Bay Area?
A: United Way Bay Area does provide grants to our program partners for programs like SparkPointFree Tax Help, and the Emergency Assistance Network. To be eligible for a grant through these programs, you must be an existing partner. Occasionally, we start a community fund that is available to any eligible organization to apply. Typically, these funds are for a specific relief effort or project in the community. A good example of one of these funds is our COVID-19 Community Relief Fund. With that fund, we distributed over $4.8 million to more than 130 organizations. If we have an open fund available, you will find the information on how to apply here.
