I just got a letter from EDD stating that I've used all my benefits, and that since Congress hasn't passed any bill extending benefits again, that I'll need to use other resources to help me out.

My husband is getting disability payments, but that goes to rent. We were relying on unemployment to plug the gaps when I wasn't able to get any temp jobs. Now I'm in a spot where I need to get full-time employment ASAP or some kind of steady funds or assistance before our utility bills start stacking up.

I have office, computer and administrative skills, but since I have such a gap between jobs & a bad credit report I'm finding it hard to be called in for an interview, much less getting a regular job. Any assistance you can provide would be appreciated.

I've heard that there are children health insurance plans available out there. I think it's more important now than ever that we insure those that are the most important in our lives. They need the best insurance and the best care that we can provide.
