ACT NOW! 875,000 children to lose health care

Governor Brown’s budget proposes to eliminate the Healthy Families Program — which provides health coverage for 875,000 children.  He proposes to transfer their care to the Medi-Cal system that is already overburdened. This proposal will harm children’s ability to access the health care and services they need in a timely way.
