I like to know what can I do to get a job,my unemployment extensions are out,and the new bill from congress doesn’t affect the people who exceeded its 99 weeks, such as myself, and I am already two years unemployed and I am trying and looking everywhere for a job,but haven’t been successful,I am having a hard time making ends meet, and my husband is the only one working, and at the place he works they start laying off people,my husband thinks he will be next, coming this january.
Hello this is the first time logging in on this site and I kinda would like to find out what can I do for my family. My mother has being helping not only me but my wife and now 3 kids. We are going through rough times. I’m not working because it is hard to get hired anywhere doing anything – God knows I do want to work to make ends meet.
What can I do? I just want to work- I’m good with my hands, learn quick and I want my kids to see and feel proud of me working whatever job there might be I’ll do it. I don’t wanna get on welfare or any of those programs. I think if I have my two hands and two legs, I shouldn’t be on those programs. I don’t need them as I’m somewhat healthy thank you.
God bless you anybody whom might help me or people just like me going true difficult times.

I just got a letter from EDD stating that I’ve used all my benefits, and that since Congress hasn’t passed any bill extending benefits again, that I’ll need to use other resources to help me out.
My husband is getting disability payments, but that goes to rent. We were relying on unemployment to plug the gaps when I wasn’t able to get any temp jobs. Now I’m in a spot where I need to get full-time employment ASAP or some kind of steady funds or assistance before our utility bills start stacking up.
I have office, computer and administrative skills, but since I have such a gap between jobs & a bad credit report I’m finding it hard to be called in for an interview, much less getting a regular job. Any assistance you can provide would be appreciated.
