The San Francisco Food Bank recently launched an advertising campaign designed to reach San Franciscans who are facing hunger for the first time. United Way’s 2-1-1 phone service is featured prominently in the ads, which direct all people seeking food to call 2-1-1.
“The convenience of being able to direct people to United Way’s 2-1-1 service is a tremendous asset in our fight to end hunger in San Francisco,” said Paul Ash, executive director of the San Francisco Food Bank.
