Champions of the movement to cut Bay Area poverty

With all that’s going on with our economy, we need to come together as young people and provide fresh ideas, energy, and commitment to find solutions to our community’s toughest problem: poverty.
Students can join United Way’s movement to cut Bay Area poverty in half by 2020 by giving, advocating, and volunteering. Become a member of Student United Way and put your passion to improve our community to work and benefit from the experience.
Your role
- Be an active member of United Way’s movement to cut poverty
- Become a community organizer and get others involved
- Volunteer for projects that help cut poverty and build our movement
- Call, email and visit elected officials to advocate for policies and laws that help our community
