Get Involved
United Way is powering a movement to cut Bay Area poverty in half by 2020. It’s called MAKE IT BE. If you believe that poverty is unacceptable, take a stand. Join the movement and get involved in our community.
Lend a Hand: Volunteer Today
Give back to our community: help urban youth develop job skills, learn how to prepare a low-income family’s taxes, or serve food at a soup kitchen. Volunteer.
Cut Poverty 15 Minutes at a Time
MAKE IT BE “Micro-volunteering!” We’ll match your skills and interests with small manageable tasks that you can do from your desk or smart phone in as little as 15 minutes. Take Action.
Advocate for Legislation
Join United Way as we advocate for laws that strengthen our ability to combat poverty. Your voice matters. Advocate.
