United Way of the Bay Area Volunteer Programs

Through United Way of the Bay Area’s volunteer programs, you can mobilize the caring power of your employees. We offer volunteering opportunities like Week of Caring the largest corporate volunteer event in the Bay Area.

Last year more than 8000 employees volunteered at community organizations across the Bay Area working on many important projects at area nonprofits. Many of these nonprofits wouldn’t be able to complete these essential projects without volunteer support.

United Way also offers year round customized volunteer opportunities to our corporate partners. These opportunities can be an afternoon project with a United Way SparkPoint Center or a ongoing opportunity such as mentoring youth once a month.

Week of Caring

In just this one week, more than 50 companies send out
8,000 employee volunteers to more than 100 nonprofits.
