Campaign Fellows 2009

Every year United Way Campaign Fellows play an instrumental role coordinating 600+ workplace fundraising campaigns ensuring millions of dollars are invested in nonprofits addressing the Bay Area’s most pressing needs.

This four-month intensive program provides a unique opportunity for the next generation of community leaders to develop their skills.

About the United Way Campaign Fellows Program

The four-month intensive program provides a unique opportunity for the next generation of community leaders to develop their skills.

  • Seven-day intensive training in fundraising, leadership and public speaking from SNP Communications
  • Brown Bag discussions with Senior Leadership including United Way of the Bay Area CEO, Anne Wilson
  • In-depth education about critical Bay Area issues (education, income, health and crisis preparation), including innovative solutions that are producing real results
  • Extensive experience in customer relationship management, sales and project management

  • Help coordinate United Way workplace campaigns at leading Bay Area companies
  • Inspire people to open their hearts and wallets to the community through engaging marketing communications and campaign events including on-site presentations
  • Connect the community to the amazing work of Bay Area’s nonprofits through the facilitation of nonprofit agency tours, speaking engagements and volunteer events
