Other Ways to Get Involved

Donate Food
Bay Area Food Banks feed the hungry by distributing more than 65 million pounds of food to locally through networks of more than 1750 charities and congregations. Together we can help them end hunger in our communities.

Donate Blood
It's easy to save lives by giving blood. Blood supplies nationwide have reached critically low levels, with less than one days' supply of several blood types. Your single donation can save three lives. You can also organize your own blood drive.

Get Prepared for Disaster
Disaster can strike quickly and without warning. It can force you to evacuate your neighborhood or confine you to your home. What would you do if basic services -- water, gas, electricity or telephones - -were cut off? The best way to make your family and your home safer is to be prepared before disaster strikes.
