"I have been very fortunate in life, so giving back to my community has always been important to me.

For 20 years, United Way has played a central role in my community investments because of their ability to focus local resources on the most important issues.

No other organization has the same capacity to mobilize our community's various stakeholders - employers, policy makers, nonprofits and individuals - around the critical issues that affect us all.

United Way serves as an ideal focal point, our community's North Star, focusing our attention on the issues that matter most."

United Way of the Bay Area (UWBA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to community impact.  United Way is unique in its ability to bring together people active in their communities, business leaders, nonprofit organizations and government agencies to address major Bay Area problems.
