United Way of the Bay Area is a nonprofit organization dedicated to create long-lasting change ensuring all residents have access to the building blocks to a better life: education, income and health. United Way is unique in its ability to bring together people active in their communities, business leaders, nonprofit organizations and government agencies to address the underlying causes of major Bay Area problems.

The Community Fund joins thousands of donations to form a single, powerful financial resource that enables United Way to guide and bring to scale many of our region’s best-performing nonprofit programs. Through the Bay Area Community Fund, United Way supports more than 250 local programs that fight poverty and address the underlying obstacles to a better life:
