Our Story: As a community school, Fair Oaks offers a variety of programs based on scientific research in school reform. As a school of choice focusing on reading and the arts, we offer a comprehensive, research-based language arts program that works to meet the needs of all students. We are also a leader in the area of school reform with academic programs that include music, visual, and performing arts. In keeping with the district mission, the school works in partnership with parents and community to help youth develop a positive vision of the future and acquire the attitudes, knowledge, and skills necessary to become successful, contributing participants in a rapidly changing world. As a community school, Fair Oaks encourages and supports the success of children by providing comprehensive and integrated services that are responsive to the needs of the community. Through the collaborative partners, the school provides resources and services to families to promote positive social interaction, and academic support.
